What is Global Competency?
Global citizenship pertains to the attitudes, perspectives, schemas, and ideas involving problem solution and aptitude as a member of a larger global community. Learners who are properly equipped to be global citizens have a mindset focused on positive, active change-making. Global competency specifies the ways in which students are able to empathize, connect, communicate, collaborate, and critically think in a way that creates a path for the citizens of tomorrow to become equipped to better solve some of the world's most difficult issues.
